Just finished a fantastic Argentinian lunch course at Pacha Mama. IT WAS SPECTACULAR! I have done similar courses in 7 or a 8 countries over the years and many at home in the US. This course was among the best I have ever done. Franco could not have been a better host. He adores Argentina and loves to share its vibrant and unique culture. Unlike many courses I have done, the guests lay hands on in creating every one of the dishes from chipan to empanadas to humitra to dessert. Each phase, from chopping to creating to cooking is all done at the hands of the participants while Franco demonstrates and explains the regional differences and historical origins of the dishes. The course lasts about 4 hours and feels like a family event as each guest becomes a friend over the course of a meal. I would recommend this without reservation as one of your first experiences in Buenos Aires.

Incredible experience with Franco, you learn a lot about typical Argentine cuisine and how to make it, in addition, he has many tips to make everything spectacularly delicious. Fran and co provided a really unique experience. If you are in Buenos Aires for a little while, interested in not only food but the cultural history of cuisine as well, this event is very useful and fun. It helps that all involved had a great sense of humor and patience. In our group we had English and Spanish speakers, and even a few kids. Whether a professional or amateur in the kitchen, there's a place for you in this experience. I am also very grateful for the restaurant recommendations, which are a great way to further explore the culinary offerings of one of the most unique cities on the globe.

My partner and I took the first cooking class of the year with Franco in February and it is safe to say it was one of the best things we did during our visit to Buenos Aires.We learnt lots about South American cuisine, whilst also learning techniques that have allowed us to make some delicious treats at home. The class was group-based meaning you're all working together to create the dishes that you all share. This made for a really good atmosphere where you can meet different people from all over the world. Franco gave us a good amount of autonomy with the different elements; he demonstrated what we needed to do and let us get stuck in, while being there for any help we may have needed. He made everything seem so simple and broke it all down into simple steps which made everything feel really easy to do.We all ate the food we made together during the class where everyone would chat and just have a good time, it felt more like cooking with friends than it did a cooking class and for this reason we loved it.I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Buenos Aires!

Awesome cooking experience at Fran's kitchen! You should take the time out of your day to go and learn from him. He has a lot of knowledge about cooking in Argentina. I learned more in 4 hours about how to cook Argentine food than I have in the past 2 months living in Buenos Aires. Contact him, you will not be disappointed!

What an INCREDIBLE experience! Franco and Angela are so kind and generous. It felt like hanging out with friends while also cooking and eating amazing food. A lot of cooking classes are hands off, you watch while the chef teaches. Not this class. Now I know exactly how to make all these amazing foods at home! Highly recommend doing this class at the beginning of your trip, so you have time to then eat at all the best restaurants he recommends.

This was an amazing experience! Franco is so knowledgeable and the class was very organized and fun. The kitchen is beautiful. This is a must if you love food and want to learn more about Argentine food and culture. I highly recommend it!
