Our dream was to spend three months driving the Ruta 40 from near the Bolivian border to KM 0 in the southeastern corner of Argentina, then go on to Tierra del Fuego. A reliable vehicle was crucial for the success of the trip and our safety. After having gotten nowhere with the big name car rental companies (none would rent a car for the whole distance and even for parts of the trip, the one way drop off fees were astronomical). I searched and found Fernando at Marina Semisa. Right from the start he was helpful and at every step was reliable, responding promptly to every question and provided good advice. The vehicle was exactly what we needed and we had no issues. So after three months of driving and more than 6,000kms, I can most strongly recommend this car rental company. And driving the Ruta 40? It was awesome - one of the world's great road trips.

Great experience renting a truck. They worked hard to accommodate our needs. We rented a 4WD Automatic Truck and served us well. We had a flat tire the last day and they picked the truck up at our hotel so we could make our flight.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!We got a car there to drive around Salta region. It is a small company and people really care for their customers! We got excellent advice which roades to take and which to avoid. Also the advice not to take an expensive 4x4 for our tour, but to drive carefuly with a regular car was highly appreciated. We could pick up the car at the airport and return it in the city. Also it was easy to extend our rental for an additional day.All in all an excellent experience! Could not recommend it more!

We rented a 4wd automatic Chevrolet S10 from Marina Semisa earlier this month for a trip out to Tolar Grande. The experience could not have been better -- Fernando patiently answered all our questions and gave us guidance on road conditions, the best way to drive to Iruya, and much more. The car rental also came with a jerrycan for extra fuel, a second spare tire, and a GPS, all of which made our trip to Tolar Grande smooth and memorable. Will be recommending Marina Semisa to all my friends who need to rent a car in northwestern Argentina!

We rented a 4x4 with Fernando and we had the best experience. Communication with him was very easy, and he was very flexible on where to meet and at what time. He is also friendly and available to answer any questions, so I would highly recommend his services.Fernando accepts payments in the local currency, which makes renting a car with him more convenient than going through the international companies.
