Ecela Buenos Aires

My experience has been wonderful and ECELA has exceeded my expectations.Simply put, it is the perfect institution to learn a language, culture, and destination. The teachers are all professional, creative, patient, and extremely passionate. In addition to the education, the whole ECELA Team work tirelessly to make sure that you experience everything that would appeal to you in the city and beyond.I was constantly impressed by all of the well thought-out and implemented classes and the consistent effort all of the team members made in to making my trip amazing!

I studied at ECELA Buenos Aires in the Fall of 2009 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The staff is not only intelligent and professional but down to earth and kind. I felt so safe and cared for there! I am still in touch with many of the staff members online. When I stayed with ECELA I was placed with a wonderful woman who fed me, cared for me, and taught me about Argentine culture and history. The program will change your life because the staff get to know you and care for you and treat you like family. The facility is clean and the environment is positive and progressive. I met students from many different countries and I thoroughly enjoyed my Spanish classes and city activities. If you are looking for an educational journey that will touch your mind and heart, ECELA is the place!

Immersion....yes! As a teacher myself, my standards are high and this program EXCEEDED my wildest dreams. The staff is kind and generous, the faculty magnificent, the program well honed and I came away, after only one week, with immediately usable Spanish. Most of all, I had so much fun it should have been illegal. With games, videos, auditory lessons, dancing and karaoke and a well crafted curriculum, everybody participates fully and learns tons. Then come the varied and enticing afternoon programs included in tuition. Fall in love with Spanish...here.The school is in a beautiful historic building in a lovely part of the city. There is so much support for making your stay in Buenos Aires a wonderful one, you'll never want to leave...and why should you? You'll be speaking Spanish like a native in a short time.

Hola! The Ecela of Buenos Aires was an amazing experience! The building is very rustic and provides a great cultural learning environment in a great area of the city. The staff addresses the needs of each student with great consideration. Students and staff are constantly smiling in enjoyment of this great learning opportunity. I give it 5 Stars and recommend it for all seeking an educational adventure!

I really enjoyed my 3 weeks at Ecela Buenos Aires. The staff was very friendly, the teachers extremely knowledgeable and I made friends with a cross-section of students from around the world. Buenos Aires is a great setting to learn Spanish... it's a very cosmopolitan city, with great food and amazing culture. I would recommend Ecela Buenos Aires to anyone looking for immersion language courses.

I had the time of my life here and cannot say enough about what a fantastic experience i had in Chile and Argentina. I learned, I travelled, had fun and made lifelong friends.The instruction was both fun and effective. The Spanish I learned has been very useful for travelling as well as professionally.I have also studied Portuguese at a school in Brazil, and there is absolutely no comparison to the awesome level of activities and atmosphere which I experienced in Buenos Aires and Santiago. This was due to the school and its organization which provides an environment conducive to fun, socializing, and learning.Easily one of the best decisions I have made

Aunque pasé sólo un mes en la ECELA de Buenos Aires, estoy muy impresionado con ella. Antes de venir a la escuela ya había aprendido las cosas básicas del Español, pero aquí practicaba mucho y mejoré mis habilidades hasta un nivel mucho más alto que antes. Las actividades en la escuela son bastante buenas, pero al mismo tiempo es muy bueno hacer cosas por si mismo. Tuvimos un problema con nuestro homestay, pero fue resuelto rápidamente y fácilmente. Yo recomiendo esta escuela si quieres experimentar la cultura de Buenos Aires y aprender el idioma en una manera divertida.

I am currently learning Spanish in ECELA and all I can say is that the staff is very receptive and always willing to help. They listen to your preferences and apply them in the classes, in order to make sure you learn at the right pace and in the right level. I admit there were a few confusions during the first week, but everything cleared out really quick (compared to the usual Argentinean speed :P).I'm looking forward to my next month in ECELA, because here you enjoy learning.

I am currently attending ECELA school for two weeks, and after my first week I couldn't be more pleased. I feel extraordinarily welcomed and have learned a huge amount in a small time. The teachers are knowledgable and kind, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed my small and intimate classes immensely. Also, the activities provided by the school give a great social outlet for someone traveling alone. I hands down would recommend this school to anyone wishing to improve their Spanish and spend time in the fantastic city of Buenos Aires.

I am spending a post graduate fellowship year in Buenos Aires and wanted to find a community where I could learn Spanish well enough that local people would want to talk to me and teach me after my first month. I found information for ECELA online and warily signed up for one month of classes. Though ECELA is not super cheap for those with a limited budget, it is ABSOLUTELY WORTH the price! I really found a community of friends and mentors here. The teachers create a fun and safe space to practice speaking Spanish. Whereas before I was very shy about speaking, I think the greatest thing about ECELA is that it has made me want to open my mouth and speak! The teachers make the classes relevant and by the end of the month, I could have fairly complicated conversations about problems in society and recount events in my life. It´s a tremendously gratifying feeling. Though I had some problems with the toilet in my apartment through the school, there was a responsive support network just an email away and the problem was fixed within 48 hours. The best part was finding friends from all over the world who were inquisitive and eager to practice Spanish. The school offered many activities for us to experience Argentinian culture outside of class and really helped make me feel like I had found a family here in Buenos Aires. I wish I could stay at the school longer! Muchas gracias, ECELA!!!
